Shakira and Kim Kardashian compete for a house on an exclusive private island in Miami

A month has already passed since Shakira's departure to Miami with her two children in common with Gerard Piqué, Sasha and Milan. The interpreter of Te congratulations and Monotonía began a new life far from Barcelona and her ex-partner, from whom she separated in June 2022. A few days ago, the first day-to-day images of 'Shak' came to light on the other puddle side. In them, you could see the Colombian next to a real estate agent. And it is that, apparently, the artist would be interested in leaving her current mansion to buy a new one in an exclusive place in the city. However, Shakira isn't the only celeb interested in the spot...and she'll be competing with Kim Kardashian.

Little is known about the new life of Shakira and her children in Miami. The artist enjoys there the privacy that she missed so much in Barcelona. After the soccer player's separation announcement, the movements of both were constantly followed with a magnifying glass. This would be one of the reasons why the Colombian decided to go live in Miami, among others. Finally, the interpreter of Waka waka left on April 2.

At the moment, it seems that the Colombian is quite focused on renovating her current home in Miami and finding a new, more spacious mansion, where her whole family can live. The current one is the one she acquired in 2001 in the exclusive area of North Bay Road, where artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and Matt Damon also have their homes. However, everything indicates that the singer is looking for another more spacious house with more privacy.

According to the journalist Álex Rodríguez in El Programa de Ana Rosa, the singer would be considering moving to a house located on Fisher Island. It is, according to Rodríguez, "the most expensive residential area in the world, where per square meter there are the largest number of millionaires. It can only be accessed by boat or helicopter." The island is very exclusive, so you have to pay around $250,000 as an initial fee, as the reporter explains.

The journalist also revealed that after a while, the annual fee drops to $22,256. It seems that the area has everything: private security, restaurants, a golf course, two swimming pools, tennis courts, and even a beach for residents only. A place that would allow Shakira and her family to find their desired privacy, something they have missed so much in the last year in Barcelona.

But apparently, the Colombian would not be the only one interested in this house. Kim Kardashian would also want to buy a house on the exclusive island, so both would be competing for a place there. Rodríguez explains that there are about 1,300 residents in the area, and that their average annual income is 2.5 million dollars. Being so exclusive, there is absolute privacy. And it is worth remembering that Kim Kardashian is also one of the most attractive faces for the paparazzi. We will have to wait to find out if either of the two finally moves there or if, on the contrary, they will do so at the same time and will be neighbors.
