Setback for Christian Gálvez: '25 Words', canceled due to the imminent arrival of Ana Rosa Quintana to Telecinco afternoons

This Friday the last broadcast of 25 words will take place, the contest presented by Christian Gálvez in the afternoons of Telecinco. According to Vertele, the program is imminently canceled and disappears from the Mediaset channel's schedule starting next Monday, the day that Ana Rosa Quintana's new magazine show, TardeAR, begins broadcasting.

Telecinco's afternoons are reformulated with this new space, which will be broadcast live from Monday to Friday between 5 and 8 p.m. One hour before, starting at 3:45 p.m., the communication group has decided to maintain Así es la vida, the program by Sandra Barneda and César Muñoz, in a much smaller format that will serve as the opening act for Quintana.

In its premiere next Monday, TardeAR will have the presence of the bullfighter Manuel Díaz 'El Cordobés', in what will be his first interview after the serious beating he suffered a month ago; and the singer Lolita, one of the protagonists of Carlos Sobera's new program on Telecinco, El musical de tu vida.

The only afternoon program that will not suffer changes on Mediaset's main network is Chain Reaction. The contest presented by Ion Aramendi until the arrival of the evening news program will remain on the grid at its usual time, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will combine its presentation with that of the Big Brother VIP debates.

After the cancellation of 25 Words, Christian Gálvez is left without a television program. However, the Madrid presenter will remain linked to Mediaset after renewing his long-term contract in April 2022, waiting for the communication group to commission him with a new project.

The contest disappears after having broadcast almost 200 installments since its premiere, which took place in December of last year. Its arrival on the Telecinco antenna occurred simultaneously with that of Chain Reaction, which marked a first revolution in the network's afternoons with the elimination of the last two hours of Sálvame.
