Rodolfo Sancho is now back in Spain after spending a week in Thailand where he was able to visit his son, Daniel Sancho, the confessed perpetrator of the murder of surgeon Edwin Arrieta on August 2.
The famous actor from legendary series such as 'The Ministry of Time' or 'The Promise' has revealed to Europa Press that he has been "pleasantly surprised" by the state in which he found Daniel. "He has a gym inside where he trains, does boseo and Muay Thai, which he loves. He is very well fed, he has even gained weight. There is no violence inside, there is no mafia," he assured the media.
Sancho has explained in detail how his visits to Daniel have been, which, for now, have only been possible through a window. "At first it seemed that there were going to be very strict schedules, that when that time was up they were going to kick me out. And not at all. They have let me spend much more time with Daniel than was planned and stipulated. I have had a lot of flexibility in that sense and I have not been monitored at all.
The actor wanted to emphasize the good treatment of his son by the Thai police. "They have understood that these are intimate conversations between father and son, also with the lawyers, and they have been totally respectful," he pointed out.
Rodolfo Sancho did not want to say goodbye to Daniel without first leaving him some Thai sweets with which the actor wanted in some way to make his son's stay in the Thai prison even more bearable.
Daniel Sancho will meet his father again at the end of September, where a face-to-face meeting has already been planned, in which father and son will meet again this time without a glass in between.
