Rodolfo Sancho, after visiting his son in prison: "They will not get tears"

Finally, Rodolfo Sancho arrived this morning at the Koh Samui prison to visit his son, Daniel Sancho, accused of the murder and dismemberment of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta for the first time. It was one of the most anticipated visits in recent days, and even more so since the actor met with the Thai authorities in Bangkok.

The murderer's father arrived at the prison compound accompanied by his lawyer Marcos García Montes, and remained inside for around three hours. Both at the entrance and at the exit, a multitude of Spanish media interested in collecting his first words were waiting for him.

Once that first meeting between Rodolfo Sancho and his son Daniel Sancho was over, the actor attended the Spanish press at the gates of the Kok Samui prison. First of all, Sancho has addressed the family of the victim of Edwin Arrieta, to whom he wanted to "express condolences and my deepest condolences."

In line with the statements he made to EFE on Tuesday, the actor also reiterated his respect for the Thai Justice and explained that he was waiting for the Prosecutor's report. "Until that time we can't do anything else," he added on this matter.

In addition, Sancho, who already announced on his arrival in Thailand last Sunday that he would speak when the time came, also made it clear to the assembled journalists that it was the last time he was going to speak, and that he would appreciate it if they left.

"They think I'm lying on the ground, that's not me," he assured the most emphatic. "There are two ways of taking things in life, either as a misfortune or as a challenge. They will not get tears," she settled. After these statements, Sancho refused to answer the questions from the journalists that he described as personal.
