Rocío Flores, Gloria Camila, Ortega Cano and the Mohedano family pay tribute to Rocío Jurado in Chipiona

Two days after the day marking the 17th anniversary of Rocío Jurado's death, a host of family members and fans have gathered to pay tribute to the iconic artist in Chipiona. In this memory, one more year, Rocío Carrasco, her daughter, was not present.

Although Carrasco did not personally attend the event, he was present through a symbolic gesture: an arrangement of white roses that adorned his mother's grave and the monument erected in her memory in Chipiona. The flowers, as ABC has revealed, were expressly commissioned by Carrasco to honor his mother.

Those who were present in person were José Ortega Cano, his daughter Gloria Camila, as well as Rocío and David Flores. Also present were the artist's brothers, Amador Mohedano, who coincided with her ex-wife Rosa Benito, and Gloria, as well as admirers of Jurado. This meeting confirms the unity that exists in the most publicized family in Carrasco, which she continues to face.

In this sense, the daughter of Rocío Jurado sent a clear message to her relatives in the docureality that she starred in on Telecinco: "They have not honored my mother's name. I think they have thrown her and stepped on her, attacking the person who most wanted. I think they have insulted her, I think they have devalued her and I think they have disrespected her. They have used my mother's name in vain and not just her name, her. They continue to lie on her behalf."

Despite family differences, the tribute, organized by the Chipiona City Council and the largest Rocío Jurado association, took place completely normally. Thus, the singer's relatives made a floral offering in the local cemetery, where the remains of the artist rest, and a mass in her memory in the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Regla.
