Rocío Carrasco participates in the tribute to her father and makes it clear who her family is

This past Saturday, June 10, in an emotional act, he inaugurated the monument in honor of Pedro Carrasco in Alosno, in the province of Huelva. The figure of the boxer was honored in the presence of Rocío Carrasco, his daughter, who could not contain her tears during the ceremony, in which a statue of the boxer, who died in 2001, was presented. Of course, Carrasco was accompanied by her husband Fidel Albiac.

Carrasco, although the waters seem to have calmed down, has experienced very bloody episodes with what he considers his media family, with whom he has no relationship. In fact, Raquel Mosquera, the boxer's widow, was not present at the tribute ceremony.

In this context, the daughter of Rocío Jurado and the Alosnero boxer wanted to make it clear who her family is. "Today is a very curious day, my two families have joined here: Alosno and Chipiona. I can remember everyone who is here because they are all my family," she assured.

In this sense, the collaborator was able to receive the affection of her father's people after having received numerous criticisms for having participated, together with the media family, in removing Jurado's memory.

In his speech, Carrasco also had words of gratitude for those who made the monument possible: "I want to thank all of them, the people of Alosno, Santiago, who has made a work of art, a marvel. I also want to thank thanks to the mayor of Alosno and the mayor of Chipiona who have also come".

The act culminated with Carrasco reciting verses from a fandango written by his uncle, Pedro Ruiz, as a tribute to his father. The poem, which fondly and sadly recalls the boxer's departure, moved the attendees: "Pedro Carrasco left and Alosno all cried, and Paco, seeing him in the sky, sang a fandango for him, for being such a good alosnero."
