Rocío Carrasco clarifies the truth about the sale of Rocío Jurado's jewelry

For a few hours now there has been no talk of anything else: Rocío Carrasco and Fidel Albiac have decided to sell Rocío Jurado's valuable jewels to face their financial problems. Jewelry that is said to have a "very important agenda of buyers", like other material memories and properties of the artist, who died in 2006.

News that the couple was quick to deny, with Rocío Carrasco herself ensuring that everything that has been said about it "is false."

It was on the Informalia portal where the news was reported: Rocío Carrasco and Fidel Albiac had decided to sell part of the material assets of the artist, who died 17 years ago, to obtain liquidity. According to information, the transaction was going to be carried out by an intermediary who would offer said jewels to the highest echelons of Spanish society. However, Pedro Carrasco's daughter completely denied that information to said news portal.

"It's a lie, everyone is calling me, the phones don't stop ringing but it's not true that I sell the jewelry," he insists bluntly.

A sale that is confirmed to have not been such, but not so in terms of the properties of the one from Chipiona, of which her daughter has been getting rid of over time. Rocío Carrasco has sold, among others, the El Administrator estate, between Rota and Chipiona - for which she got 800,000 euros -, an apartment on Puerto Rico Street and another property in Miami (United States) whose sale caused the definitive breakup of the relationship between Rocío Carrasco and José Ortega Cano. In addition, she also sold her father's famous apartment on Madrid's Paseo de la Habana, which caused her more than one conflict with her widow, Raquel Mosquera.

One of the reasons why these rumors arose would be due to the alleged lack of liquidity of the singer's daughter, who also took charge of the Rocío Jurado museum project, allowing it to see the light after years of being stopped.

Currently, in addition, the daughter of the 'greatest' is immersed in the production of Rocío Jurado: The Musical, the production starring the singer Anabel Dueñas that covers the musical career of the tonadillera and that is working successfully throughout Spain , with more than 50,000 viewers to date.

According to journalist Ángela Portero in It's Midday, Rocío Jurado's daughter would live off the income generated by several companies, after the problems she suffered with the Treasury years ago and which she would have already settled, hence her disappearance from the small screen.
