After a very intense poker game, Margarita has managed to beat Lorenzo, taking away his 25% of La Promesa, a fact that will turn life in the palace upside down.
The captain, who has been humiliated by this unexpected victory, has had to inform the marquises of what happened, something that Cruz did not like one bit. They both make the decision to join together to prevent Margarita from taking over her part of The Promise.
On the other hand, Lope is not coping well with his new job. After being fired from the kitchen, the young man must get used to the role of his lackey, something that has him in a very bad mood. Likewise, Carlos has confessed the truth to Candela: her absence in recent days is due to her daughter, who must go to Gijón, causing the teacher to move with her.
