The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with two most surprising episodes. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how the situation between Jana and Manuel becomes complicated.
Jimena continues to be obsessed with discovering where Manuel was during his getaway, even putting pressure on her husband. As for Jana, the maid intends to end her relationship with Abel, although María Fernández asks her to be cautious.
Rómulo has proposed to Lope to cook one last time for La Promesa. Given his imminent departure to Madrid, the cook has organized a great dinner with his colleagues. Before leaving for the capital, Lope confesses that one of the reasons for leaving is that he is still madly in love with María.
On another note, Dr. Bueno has decided to perform several tests on Martina, who is showing symptoms of pregnancy. Finally, Jerónimo Gamboa, the Count of Añil's valet, arrives at La Promesa... and his identity is a big surprise.
In the next episode of La 1's star soap opera, Jana will find herself at a difficult crossroads: she wants to be honest with Abel and end her relationship with him, although this is the best alibi to live out her romance with Manuel without raising suspicions.
