Pepe Rodríguez jokes about the possible signing of Broncano for RTVE: "He will come as a presenter"

The 12th edition of Masterchef has just premiered on RTVE and the three members of the jury have stopped by La Resistencia. Thus, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera, Jordi Cruz and Pepe Rodríguez have visited David Broncano's program, who is possibly their new partner on the public channel.

Everything depends on the negotiations reaching a successful conclusion between all parties. The Board of Directors will have to decide whether to agree to give 28 million euros to the three production companies of La Resistencia in exchange for two seasons - the contract could be terminated if the ratings are bad. This agreement would begin in 2024 and end in 2026.

The members of the jury did not want to miss the opportunity to throw a little dig at the presenter from Jaén. On the occasion of the premiere, Jordi Cruz asked Broncano if he would be brave to compete in the celebrity version: "Would you come and cook?"

Broncano, despite recognizing that he is very famous, has declined the Catalan chef's offer. "As a contestant? You have to spend four months there," he lamented when they insisted. Given this, Cruz assured him that he would not last long: "We would throw you out quickly."

This small window has been enough for Pepe Rodríguez to ironically comment on the situation that Broncano, the program and RTVE are experiencing: "No, he's going to come as a presenter. He was just missing." The cook, visibly aware of all the rumors, made numerous gestures so that everyone would realize where he wanted to go.

This, however, has caught the presenter offside, who apparently had forgotten about this whole issue. However, he has acknowledged that before the program he did have in mind that the visit of his guests was going to cause a queue: "I thought what a move."
