Paloma Elsesser slammed for asking followers to think twice before posting about anti-Semitism on Instagram

Paloma Elsesser has been slammed on social media for asking people to not post about anti-Semitism amid the continuing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"No one is saying you have to be silent on antisemitism, however before you post about antisemitism in this period ask yourself: Am I linking this to Palestinian liberation as a whole? Will people be able to use this to delegitimize the Palestinian struggle?" Read the announcement, as quoted by U.K.'s DailyMail.

"Why am I posting this right now?" The post lasted. "Palestinian liberation leaders, advocates and activists have made it clear that antisemitism is never welcome in the movement for freedom for Palestine," the post added.

According to the socket, users quickly slammed the star.

"You know nothing about Israel about Palestinians or about Jews," wrote one user, as quoted by the socket. "Stay out of our affairs in case you aren't going to teach yourself"

"Get it through your head, anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism," chimed another. "You use your own system to divide. It is disgusting, you should be embarrassed."

The outlet also reported that the user advised the model to"stop spreading lies."

"We do not let you know exactly what racism is," read one comment, as mentioned by the socket. "Do not tell us what anti-Semitism is."

A rep for the 29-year-old didn't return Fox News' request for comment.

Before this month, Bella Hadid joined a demonstration in New York City in support of Palestinians.

"How my heart feels... To be around this many amazing, bright, respectful, loving, generous and kind Palestinians all in 1 place... it feels complete! We are a rare breed!!" The model, whose dad, Mohamed Hadid, is of Palestinian descent, captioned the post.

"It's free Palestine til Palestine is liberated!!!" The 24-year-old added.

Her presence at the demonstration came hours after she shared a different article on Instagram of her grandparents on their wedding day in 1941, together with an image of her father as a child beside his seven sisters and their mother.

"I really like my loved ones, I really like my Heritage, '' I adore Palestine," she composed .

The dual posts also came hours after a second article Hadid shared attracted accusations of anti-Semitism. This post was highly critical of Israel, calling it a property settled by colonizers that clinic"ethnic cleansing, military occupation and apartheid across the people."

Many Instagram users pointed out inaccuracies in Hadid's articles, with some accusing her of perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes.

Agents for Hadid didn't respond to Fox News' request for comment.

Israel reacted with a series of airstrikes, murdering a top Hamas commander and lots of other senior Hamas militants.
