Yesterday television history was made when Rafa Castaño managed to complete the final donut of Pasapalabra in one go, without letting his opponent participate in the test. The Sevillian contestant thus won the largest jackpot in the history of the contest: 2,272,000 euros.

The champion could not believe what was happening and surprised the audience with a serious face, in shock, while the presenter Roberto Leal, Orestes and the famous guests shouted with joy and jubilation.

The first thing the Sevillian did when they gave him the floor was to thank and applaud his opponent Orestes, who also deserved to take home the award after so many programs competing against each other.

After speaking with the winner, Leal gave way to the other applicant: "Of course, let's give applause to the level of what Rafa has just done, for Orestes, for being one of the greatest contestants in the history of this contest." For his part, the philologist from Burgos said goodbye to the audience and to Roberto Leal, assuring that he did not feel sorry, since he had lived some very beautiful months and had spent incredible moments with the presenter and the guests: ''Every moment with you has It has been pure encouragement, pure joy, a happiness to transmit to each family every afternoon, as so many people have let me know, that we have made life much more beautiful for so many people and being part of that is the most beautiful thing I can take away from this '' he commented.

Orestes does not leave empty-handed. During the 360 ​​programs that he has accompanied the audience, he has managed to raise 215,400 euros, a large figure. "Don't feel sorry for me, I have a good accumulated, it's a nice little bottle and I have the following years resolved, there is no shame with this," he explained while leaving the door ajar to return to compete one day: "I hope to have the chance to come back in a special or something".

Elegance accompanied him until the last moment in which he congratulated his opponent for having made history: "You are the person who has worked the most on this, you deserve every last euro, one hundred percent. What you have done has been wonderful '' he told his partner Rafa.
