Miriam Díaz-Aroca is one of the most popular faces on the small screen. The actress became known in the decade of the nineties, where she managed to achieve success after success in more than numerous projects of hers on television.

Its beginnings date back to the end of the eighties when it appeared for the first time presenting Cajón Desastre. But his popularity increased when in 1991 Díaz-Aroca was in charge of the legendary Spanish Television program Un, dos, tres. The Madrid native presented the well-known contest for three years, shortly after continuing with her television career, which was going to expand to the world of acting.

And the woman from Madrid has also left us great fictional characters who have undoubtedly gone down in television history. Her role as Manuela in La casa de los líos or her character as Claudia in My adorable neighbors are undoubtedly great performances for which she will always be remembered. And although it is true that during these recent years the actress has gone more unnoticed, the truth is that the Madrid native continues to delight the public with her acting skills.

Miriam Díaz-Aroca is immersed in filming the last season of Amar es para siempre, the Antena 3 series that will say goodbye to its viewers forever at the end of the current television season. For this reason, and after the recent premiere of the new episodes, presented at the Vitoria FesTVal, the actress has gone to the Cadena Ser program El Faro to talk about her professional career and some aspects of her life.

This past Thursday, the actress starred in a very intimate talk with presenter Mara Torres, where she opened up about some of the most unknown aspects of her life and surprised with a very spiritual confession, which left listeners speechless. ''I have never been one for saints, nor for virgins, nor for anything religious, not a pattero. But the black virgins had a very special effect, and specifically, Guadalupe,'' the interpreter assured.

''When I saw the Virgin of Guadalupe, it seemed like a deep emotion to me. Then Mexican culture, that honor and respect for the dead,' she declared. ''Those festivals of colors, of praising death as something beautiful. It caught my attention a lot and one day in the process of waking up, Guadalupe called me three times. I always say that heaven calls you three times, but you have to be attentive to the call. Then the call came over the course of a month, three times in my life and I decided it was time to pay attention,' she confessed.

Then the actress decided to fly to Mexico. When she arrived she asked a friend of hers to take her to see the Virgin of Guadalupe. Her friend warned her that it would be a complicated journey, but to her surprise the journey was better than expected and they didn't even encounter any more vehicles. ''I arrived at the basilica, I saw her there among many people, I put on my jacket (which had the Virgin painted on it) and I told her: 'Look, I have come, I have listened to you, I have listened to you, I am here for whatever you want.' I was there for 10 days and wonderful things happened,' she concluded.
