Miguel Frigenti wore a 2023 to forget. The young reporter had been left without one of his most valued jobs, the position of collaborator of Sálvame. The closure of the program on June 23 left him with a difficult scenario to assume, even more so taking into account another problem that affected him: the driver's license. No matter how many classes he took, no matter how much he moved to Talavera de la Reina to facilitate his homework, he couldn't pass the practical exam. Until today.
In an exclusive that he has provided to his colleagues on the Telecinco Outdoor portal, Frigenti has been able to announce to great fanfare that he can finally drive legally. The collaborator has been able to show off his permit in a short video, in addition to the famous sign with the letter L. The journalist thanked all those who encouraged him and recalled that, although many found it amusing, for him he was already becoming in phobia, in a nightmare.
"I've been doing this for a year and two months, five attempts... 120 or 100, well, I don't know the classes I was taking anymore because I was already doing them twice, so I no longer kept track," he stated in his recording. Frigenti has also briefly described his examination and how, after starting at a gas station, he was able to pass a 'STOP' sign with little visibility without trouble. "The Frigenti had surely taken over me, I have remembered the advice that the people who loved me gave me," he said.
The story of Miguel Frigenti with the driver's license has been one of the last anecdotes of the collaborators of Sálvame before the closing of the program. After passing 75 practical classes and failing the exam on numerous occasions, the journalist decided to move the operation to his hometown, Talavera de la Reina. In this way, he could avoid the bustle and traffic jams of the Spanish capital to get it out more calmly. Although he did not count on several additional setbacks.
Less than ten days before the end of his favorite program, the collaborator suffered a strange mishap during the test: the test vehicle broke down during his shift. It was the fourth time that Frigenti had gone up to the pilot, and he cursed everything he knew in a post shared on his social networks. All this after having spent the previous two weeks "living on a bus", making the journey daily between the Mediaset studios and his native Talavera.
Now that he has the L in his hands, Frigenti only has one thing left to do: the latest Deluxe. This Friday it will be the turn of the Friday and Saturday night format to say goodbye, after nearly 14 years on the air and more than 750 programs behind it.
