Mercedes Milá, rescued at sea due to a problem with her boat: "It could have ended in disaster"

Mercedes Milá is one of the most popular television faces in our country. And like a large part of the Spanish population, the journalist is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation. The presenter has chosen the island of Menorca for her days of disconnection, where she is making the most of these days next to her niece Ana de ella.

The journalist did not want to miss out on her stay in Mahón, so she decided to go out to sea to enjoy the impressive turquoise waters of the island. But what the journalist did not expect was the distressing moment that she has lived at sea, and where a friend of hers had to come to her rescue.

This is how the journalist told it through her social networks, where she wanted to explain the entire story of her shipwreck at sea. ''The story of a rescue that could have ended in disaster and luckily it has only been one more adventure,'' she wrote in the description of her publication, where she has also published several photographs of the maritime adventure of she.

As he explained in several fragments on his Instagram profile, his small boat ran out of gasoline near the port of Mahón, in Menorca. ''We are in the middle of a little shipwreck,'' she declared. The presenter stressed that she had never had this situation of running out of gasoline. ''There was no gasoline in the port of Mahón and we went around the port, but we haven't had enough,'' she affirmed.

Milá later explained that a friend of hers, Javier Herrero, who had been in charge of towing the journalist, her niece and her dog Scott to the port of the island, had to go look for them. The journalist also wanted to take advantage of this situation to denounce the lack of solidarity that has been found at sea with other boats, which refused to help them. ''The lack of solidarity is shocking,'' she affirmed. ''In the sea you have to help the first time,'' she declared.

Fortunately, the situation was only scared, but the presenter's boat was sailing very close to the rocks, as we can see in the images. A risky situation that they managed to avoid thanks to the serenity with which they faced the situation and the quick action of her friend.
