Milá later explained that a friend of hers, Javier Herrero, who had been in charge of towing the journalist, her niece and her dog Scott to the port of the island, had to go look for them. The journalist also wanted to take advantage of this situation to denounce the lack of solidarity that has been found at sea with other boats, which refused to help them.
