Matt LeBlanc's heartfelt message to Matthew Perry after the actor's death: "I will always smile when I think of you"

The television world reacted with shock and disbelief to the loss of one of its most striking names in recent weeks. It was on October 28 that the death of actor Matthew Perry, known for playing Chandler Bing in the series Friends, was known. Although in the most recent hours the causes of his death have not been clarified, since the reason was not indicated on the death certificate, that has not prevented the farewells from continuing.

One of the latest has been shared through social networks by one of the people with whom he spent the most hours in the filming sessions: Matt LeBlanc. The former presenter of Top Gear on the BBC, in charge of playing Joey Tribbiani in the well-known fiction, has published a series of photographs on his Instagram profile, remembering his ill-fated partner. The gallery is accompanied by a small letter addressed to Perry, thanking them for the moments shared.

“Matthew, it is with regret that I say goodbye to you. The time we spent together was one of the favorite moments of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to be able to call you my friend. I will always smile when thinking about you and I will never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly, brother, you are finally free. Lots of love. And I guess you'll keep the $20 you owed me,” LeBlanc wrote in his farewell message.

The publication, published this Tuesday afternoon, already exceeds a million and a half 'likes' on Instagram, and has many responses from followers and acquaintances, who also say goodbye to Matthew Perry and send their expressions of affection to the actor US. “People believe that breakups are difficult to overcome, until they realize what the loss of a loved one is,” reflected a user in one of the first responses.

“This has broken my heart again. “I am very sorry that you lost your friend, but I am happy that you no longer suffer,” read another of the writings. “Matt, I'm so sorry. It's a great loss for everyone, I can't even imagine how hard it must be for you. I wish you a lot of strength and I send you love. I love you all. Please take care of yourselves. Thank you for your kind words about Matthew,” another user shared in response to the heartfelt message.

Aside from the farewells that continue to come for Matthew Perry, members of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued his death certificate last week. It does not specify any cause of his death, pending the publication of the results of the toxicology report in the coming days. The certificate also indicated that the actor was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the city of Los Angeles on November 3.
