María Patiño has been one of those who has been the happiest and most effusive at the premiere of Save Whoever Can. The presenter has become one of the undisputed protagonists of the docu-reality that Netflix offered about the adventures of the former collaborators of Sálvame in Miami.
While waiting for the premiere of the second part, in Mexico, where she will be able to smile again, the journalist seems to have been dealt a hard blow when she saw that she would no longer be the main presenter of her program Socialité. And it was the only space from La Fábrica de la Tele that had survived on Telecinco. Faced with this news, Patiño has not hesitated to launch some jokes through social networks.
That Mediaset is undergoing many changes is nothing new. Borja Prado, executive president of the communication group, announced that he will leave the position in the coming weeks, just a year and a half after accepting it. And his decisions have changed the corporation completely. At the same time, a few days ago it was learned that the production company La Fábrica de la Tele, which had the leadership for a long time, was definitively breaking with the medium.
With this, Telecinco has decided to keep Socialité, but not before getting rid of María Patiño, as has been published. Upon seeing this, many of the journalist's fans have wanted to send her messages of encouragement. "Don't doubt it. I am alone where I am valued and the best is yet to come," she responded to one of them.
But the messages, and the taunts, have not ended there. "I am convinced that someone from Mediaset will inform me of what is published regarding Socialité. Time after time...", she added. Putting on the table having found out everything from the press, in the same way that the collaborators of Sálvame live did before its cancellation.
Such is the blow she has suffered, that just the day after this news came to light, María Patiño decided not to go to work. "I send her a special kiss because she has herpes on her lip," explained Javier de Hoyos, director of the program and substitute presenter, justifying the withdrawal of her partner.
A loss that is reminiscent of Jorge Javier Vázquez just after the end of Sálvame was published. And it seems that the presenter joins Patiño on the list of those permanently eliminated from the network. Another piece of news published is that the one from Badalona will not take charge of either GH DÚO or Supervivientes 2024, in the same way that he did not do so with GH VIP 8.
And María Patiño also wanted to respond to this. "I'm convinced that someone will know how to say goodbye," she posted on X (Twitter). "No my life, see you soon... bad bug never dies," she responded to a hater who was happy to see her leaving.
