In Spain every May there is an event that paralyzes society and brings locals and strangers together in front of any screen. An event in which, despite being about to hit the bell in 2022, expectations have always been cautious, to avoid major disappointments. It is about the Eurovision festival, where year after year the hopes of seeing a triumph again are deposited. Something that did happen in another category, almost twenty years ago.

The winner of the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, María Isabel, has spoken about that moment on her social networks. Through her Instagram stories, the singer has answered various questions from her followers. One of them raised the question of a possible return to the music industry, to which she responded with the possibility of touring with all of her music, including her smash hit "Antes muerta que sencilla."

Will you go back to music? A concert with your songs would be cool as a child, I grew up watching you", was the question, to which he responded with the following statement: "My music will always be part of my life, and part of yours, I would never rule out returning, in the event from Krash I felt amazing… And I still have more events where my music will be present! I would love to create a tour with my entire career… but there is a time for everything… projects take time, but we will surely do it!”

A possibility with which the native of Ayamonte could re-enter the world of song, after retiring in 2021. "I'm leaving, I'm leaving music, I'm leaving all that I once loved but that Today being in the industry is very complicated for me. And it's hard, and it makes me angry... and more than ever I have stopped fighting. But due to other matters, I feel obliged to take a breath… time to think, meditate, and know the way forward, ”she announced on Instagram.

Since then, the artist has been on other matters, including the birth of her daughter Daliana on February 14. Even so, many still remember her rise as the foam of a carefree and clever artist, who captivated an entire generation, both adults and young people her age. Many of them have already grown up with the singer, but none will forget the culminating moment of her arrival on her scene: the evening of November 20, 2004.

That night, in the Norwegian town of Lillehammer, the grand final of Junior Eurovision was held, where the woman from Huelva appeared after turning Before dead than simple into a resounding success in Spain. It was a night full of special moments, including the participation of Lucho, the remembered yellow stuffed animal from Los Lunnies, as spokesman for the Spanish votes. In the end, María Isabel would prevail in the contest with a difference of 31 points over the United Kingdom.
