Mango launches the version of Rosalía's most controversial coat

In July 2019, Rosalía generated controversy with a design that came in several different shades. The Catalan artist fell in love with a coat made of patent leather and with removable fox fur on the collar and sleeves that she wore in fuchsia, white and orange. A piece whose price was almost 1,700 euros and which belonged to a collection of the Danish brand Saks Potts.

While some fans fell in love with this coat made in the most striking colors, others harshly criticized the Malamente interpreter for opting for a fur design at a time when more and more luxury brands were abandoning the use of fur.

The Saks Potts designers defended the coat, which was also worn by other celebrities such as Kylie and Kendall Jenner, stating that it was made of ecological material and that they used furs from Danish farms that met Welfur requirements, a protocol that ensures that animals are well treaties.

Four years later, Mango has just released a version of this viral piece, although in this case, without a trace of fur. The Catalan brand is sweeping sales with a fur-effect coat made of polyester. A khaki-colored garment with a midi length, a V-neck with a lapel, a front button closure and a belt to stylize the silhouette.

Both the fur on the collar and cuffs can be removed when you prefer to wear a less striking design. The same goes for the belt, which can be removed if you prefer to wear the coat looser.

The item from the new Mango collection has a price of 199.99 euros and is currently sold out in the online store. The good news is that the company has already activated the email notification option once it is available again. Sizes range from XXS to XXL.

A sophisticated piece that is very easy to wear with basic outfits, with shirts or jeans, as well as with knitted dresses or leather-effect skirts for a more elegant look for going out to dinner.
