Luxury trees to help people with disabilities: Solidarity Xmas Tree arrives in Madrid

The Salamanca neighborhood and the Galerías Canalejas are filled with Christmas luxury to host the seventh edition of the Solidarity Xmas Tree action. The project, which has the collaboration of the big brands of the luxury industry to design a Christmas tree, puts its finishing touch this Tuesday, with an exclusive gala dinner in which Christie's will auction the Christmas and luxury trees of this edition.

The Royal Theater of Madrid thus hosts a night that exudes luxury sponsored by the top model Nieves Álvarez as a member of the committee of this edition and together with Bettina Farreras, Anabel Zamora, Beatriz Ordovás and Paula Quinteros.

Of the fifteen participating firms, designs such as Cartier's stand out, a pyramid of transparent red boxes that create an original Christmas tree, or Aquazzura's, with dozens of golden pine cones - in honor of the firm's logo - in the form of Christmas decorations and also the elegant NUBA design created by the couturier Lorenzo Caprile.

Bulgari, Hermès, Loewe, Giorgio Armani, Ze García, Stefano Ricci, Chopard, Chaumet, IWC Schaffhausen, Omega, Jaeger Le Coultre and Maison Valmon complete this year's list with haute couture Christmas tree designs exhibited throughout this week in its flagship boutiques in Madrid.

The profits raised from the Christie's auction that takes place this Tuesday night will go to two Foundations, Apsuria and Proyecto Persona. Both work to help people with severe intellectual disabilities and are committed to caring for and improving the quality of life of this group.
