List of nominees and performances of the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards

The Colombians Camilo, Karol G and Shakira, with seven nominations each, start as favorites for the Latin Grammy 2023. The three artists head a long list with 300 nominees for 56 categories, in an edition in which they have received just over 19,000 applicant registrations, according to the Latin Recording Academy.

Especially close will be the recording of the year category, with 11 candidates, among which are No es que te estrado, by Christina Aguilera; Road and blanket, by Pablo Alborán; Let me cry for you, by Paula Arenas with Jesús Navarro; Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, by Bizarrap with Shakira, and If you love me, by Fonseca and Juan Luis Guerra.

Completing that list is While I Heal My Heart, by Karol G; Of all the flowers, by Natalia Lafourcade; Brown eyes, by Lasso; The formula, by Maluma and Marc Anthony; Desphá, by Rosalía and, finally, Correcaminos, by Alejandro Sanz with Danny Ocean.

The album of the year could be La Cu4rta Hoja, by Pablo Alborán; Blindly, by Paula Arenas; From the inside out, by Camilo; Fourteenth, by Andrés Cepeda; Everyday life, by Juanes; Tomorrow will be nice, by Karol G; Of all the flowers, by Natalia Lafourcade; Play, by Ricky Martín; Eadda9223, by Fito Páez, and Escalona had never been recorded like this, by Carlos Vives.

Spanish artists have also made a place for themselves at the biggest party in the Latin American music industry. Pablo Alborán aspires to record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, best pop vocal album and best pop song.

Rosalía, nominated for recording of the year for Desphá, also fails to attend the event. For his part, Manu Carrasco competes for the best traditional pop vocal album with Corazón yarrow. The Cartagena band Arde Bogotá is also up for an award, competing in the categories of Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for Cowboys de la A3 and Los Perros, respectively.

In the absence of knowing who the award-winning artists will be, the 24th edition gala will be quite a spectacle. Artists of the stature of Rosalía, Shakira, Maluma, Milo J, Sebastián Yatra, the French David Guetta and the Puerto Rican Ozuna will parade on the stage of the Seville Exhibition and Congress Palace (FIBES).

In addition, the academy has confirmed that the following artists will participate as presenters at some point during the gala: Majo Aguilar, Anitta, Pedro Capó, Jorge Drexler, Luis Figueroa, Natalia Lafourcade, John Leguizamo, Nicki Nicole, Carlos Ponce, Carlos Vives and Yandel .
