King Charles III of England does not forget his son Enrique and shares a tender photo together

Last Sunday, June 18, Father's Day was celebrated in the Anglo-Saxon world. For this reason, King Carlos III shared a carousel of images with which he wanted to celebrate this beautiful day with all the parents in the world. Among them stands out a photograph in which the monarch does not appear alone, but does so in the company of his two sons, Guillermo and Enrique, when they were children.

"To all fathers, we wish you a very special Father's Day today," the monarch writes on his official Instagram account.

A beautiful image of the three of them together, taken on August 16, 1997, just two weeks before the death of their mother, the beloved Princess Diana. The two teenagers were on vacation with their father at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where the British royal family usually spends the summer. Guillermo and Enrique were supposed to meet her mother precisely on the same day that she met her fatal fate, August 31.

An image that comes at a time when the relationship between Prince Enrique and his father seems not to be going through its best moment. The king celebrated his first military parade on June 17 (the famous Trooping the Colour, the official celebration of the birthdays of British sovereigns), and did not invite his best son or Meghan Markle to this event .

Last year, the Sussexes did attend the parade, but they didn't wave on the balcony or appear in the carriages.

In this celebration, the king also did not want to forget his father, the late Prince Felipe; or his mother-in-law, Major Bruce Shand, father of Queen Camila.

The Prince of Wales also decided to share a most significant image on his public profile. The future monarch published some beautiful photographs starring his three children, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and the youngest of the family, Prince Luis (5), with which he paid tribute to all the parents of the world: "Happy Father's Day."

Some tender images, signed by the artist Millie Pilkington, taken in the gardens of Frogmore House. The setting is not accidental, as the four of them appear in the Swiss Seats wooden shelter, sitting on the bench that was installed on the occasion of Elizabeth II's 90th birthday.

A beautiful tribute to the queen, who passed away in September 2022.

As a fact, Frogmore House is also located in Frogmore Cottage, the house that one day was the dream come true of his brother, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. Now, Prince Andrés, brother of Carlos III, resides there.
