Kiko Hernández leaves the door open for a possible return of 'Sálvame'

Every man for himself has become one of the great hits of Netflix Spain. The program premiered on November 10 and since then it has been occupying the number one position on the platform in our country day in and day out.

This new format, produced by La Fábrica de la Tele, left all the followers of the original program wanting to continue enjoying their adventures on the other side of the ocean. And the platform decided to release the first three episodes (those from Miami) and leave the remaining ones for the beginning of 2024. A decision with which they intend to satisfy all those Telecinco viewers, who were left devastated after the end of the format on last June 23rd.

During these last months, many of the protagonists of the Mediaset space wanted to speak out about the cancellation and what it meant for them to be left ''without a job'' overnight. One of the last to speak on this topic was Kiko Hernández. The collaborator, who is one of the eight protagonists of the Netflix reality show, wanted to open up in a recent interview on The Objective's Purgatory podcast.

In the talk, Hernández broke his silence about the moment in which they discovered the cancellation of the program through the media. ''Each company can do whatever it wants, however it wants. We have enjoyed the support of Mediaset for a long time, all the resources we had to have. And they decided to do it that way. "I'm no one to say it seems good, it seems bad, I think it's a business idea," he said.

Although the collaborator wanted to emphasize during the interview that the decision had to have been executed in a more correct way, especially by all the workers who made an effort to carry out the program for fourteen years. ''I think it is not the most correct option,'' he said.

Regarding whether the decision was marked by political motivation, Kiko Hernández preferred not to enter into that controversy. ''These decisions are made and suddenly today you are not there, but tomorrow you are there and the day after that you are not there and the next you are there,'' he commented.

''And I think you can't bite the hand that has fed you for so many years. If right now they have made an editorial decision, a decision to dispense with certain people, then perhaps tomorrow that will be revoked. And if they see that the audiences or whatever is not working for them, then maybe they will call back the puppeteers who have entertained so many people for so long,' he asserted.
