Justice forces a 'GH VIP' contestant to leave the house to attend a summons

The eighth season of 'Big Brother VIP' has been shaken by an unexpected “abandonment” this Wednesday, since the contestant José Antonio Avilés has had to temporarily leave the Guadalix de la Sierra house due to a court summons.

The journalist, who was chosen by the audience with 65% of the votes to remain as a full participant, was forced to leave the coexistence despite his enthusiasm for the contest. The news was announced by the organization through social networks.

Avilés, who had previously participated in 'Survivors' and 'Nightmare in Paradise', shared his excitement for the opportunity to be in 'GH VIP'. However, his participation was interrupted for legal reasons. The court summons he faced forced him to leave Guadalix's house for a few hours.

To ensure his isolation during his absence, Avilés was accompanied by a representative of the program's production company.

Avilés' departure has generated a debate among fans of the contest. Some question the sincerity of the contestant, since, as indicated, Avilés had informed his colleagues that his departure was related to professional commitments, such as a photographic report. This has led some to call him a liar, recalling controversial episodes in his television history.

The incident is not unique in the history of 'GH VIP', since contestants in previous editions, such as María Jesús Ruiz, also had to be temporarily absent due to judicial matters. However, what is striking in this case is that Avilés has only been in the house for ten days and three as an official contestant. His temporary departure has put his "adventure" on the program on hold, but he is expected to return to cohabitation once he meets his court date.
