Juan José Ballesta's attempt to file the complaint accusing him of sexual assault is denied

Bad news for Juan José Ballesta. Last Tuesday, November 7, the actor denied before the chief magistrate of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 4 of Parla (Madrid) the alleged sexual assault of which a woman accused him, whom the interpreter claims to know nothing about.

The actor also assured that he was going to request that the procedure be archived due to the victim's contradictions; However, the judge has rejected the file of the case and agrees to collect new evidence requested by the prosecution.

Ballesta appeared as an investigator before the courts, very "calm", according to his lawyer, but "concerned" because it is "a crime that stigmatizes a lot", especially for someone from his union. Despite his insistence that he did not know the complainant, a 47-year-old woman who claims to have been a friend of his for years, and the alleged contradictions in the testimony; The judge has decided not to dismiss the case.

What's more, the magistrate has decided to accede to the requests of the complainant's lawyer, Juan Manuel Medina, so that new procedures be carried out to ratify the testimony of the victim, who reported two different rapes of two men - one of them the actor - suffered in July.

Among other measures, it has requested that the Infanta Cristina University Hospital in Parla be collected the woman's psychiatric medical history and the medical notes that were made during her admission between August 3 and 16, the day on which she filed the complaint of the events, which caused her to decompensate in the paranoid schizophrenia that she has been diagnosed with.

In it, she reported that between July 18 and 21, 2023, she was the victim of two different sexual assaults, one by a man named R., who also held her in his house for several days, and another by another , identified as Juan José Ballesta, with whom he met "in a pub" and whom he knows because they have been neighbors for years in Parla.

Ballesta, for its part, continues to maintain its version. In his last public appearance he stated that he did not know the complainant, but he was grateful to have been able to tell "the truth." After giving testimony, he left everything in the hands of justice. "Now whatever has to be is hers. I don't know her at all and I haven't met her anywhere," he assured the journalists gathered there. "Of course I am very calm because I have nothing to do with all this," he stated.

The alleged victim continues to maintain that the actor and the second reported individual sexually assaulted her. The events occurred over several days and took place in Parla, the town where they reside. According to the complaint filed on August 3, R. held the woman for several days, while the actor allegedly sexually assaulted her in the vicinity of an ATM in Parla.
