Joaquín Prat reveals what will be his refuge in the holidays that begin today for the presenter

The Ana Rosa program has given way to the summer program and, with it, significant changes in the Telecinco television schedule. Ana Rosa Quintana has said goodbye to the mornings in Fuencarral after eighteen years in charge of the magazine, occupying a place in the afternoons starting in September. Another of her collaborators, Joaquín Prat, will also leave television for a while, but not for long.

The regular presenter of Ya es mediodía announced this morning the start of his vacation. Prat will be absent from both the summer program and his space to take a break after an intense season, which has included a general election in mid-July. Although he hasn't specified a particular place, he has been able to describe his plans.

“I am in vacation mode, in a minute and a half I am already on vacation. I have my holiday reading prepared, my destiny, family, friends... I feel like taking refuge in reading. Thank you colleagues, your company is always the best. Happy holidays”, declared the communicator. A rest that will be unpaid, as he has revealed, being self-employed: "I go on vacation and they are not paid. I go on vacation and I stop getting paid."

In the same way, Prat was the protagonist in the farewell to Ana Rosa Quintana with a heartfelt message: “I have never seen you lose your temper, I have never seen you lose your temper, give a word higher than another to any member of the team. You have made a formidable team, you cover us all and not only professionally but also personally. You have created a great family, I can only say thank you because everything I know about television I have learned from you.

The man from Madrid assured that the Mediaset communicator played an essential role in his professional career, and that working without her will be difficult. “I have a great friend who could say, she is a big sister. I hope I can put into practice everything I've learned from you. Thank you for so much, thank you for everything, ”she concluded, before bringing tears to her partner and overflowing the emotion on the set.

Ana Rosa said goodbye to Telecinco's mornings this past Tuesday, with an emotional farewell speech. “Today I want to remember Máxim Huerta, Oscar Martínez and all the people who have passed through here. But, above all, thanks to this team. I want to say goodbye to you. There is always a first time and a last time,” she described, before having a few last moments with her teammates.
