Isabel Gemio fulfills the great wish of her son affected by muscular dystrophy: "A night he will not forget"

This past Thursday, Seville came to a standstill for an event that will remain etched in the retinas of many for a long period of time. And yesterday the 24th Latin Grammy Awards gala was held, which for the first time in its history left the United States to settle in the Andalusian capital, specifically at the Fibes Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions. A historic event and, above all, special for many.

One of those people was Isabel Gemio, who was able to celebrate the arrival of these prestigious awards in style by attending with her son Gustavo. The eldest of two brothers with Diego, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy since he came into the world, was one of the guests at the Sevillian fairgrounds, where he was able to rub shoulders with some of the most prominent artists on the current Latin music scene. An opportunity that Gemio did not miss.

“Here is a mother accompanying her son, a fan of Latin music. A night she won't forget. And neither do I,” she wrote on her Instagram profile, in the publication accompanied by five photographs that showed the young man's experience. Mother and son posed with several artists, including one of the most recognized in the Spanish and Andalusian firmament: David Bisbal, in addition to being together in the rows of seats before starting.

The compilation has more than 1,800 likes since it was published, and has a multitude of responses and reactions from followers and other users. “How cute you look, Isabel. Let them give you a program, now. And I'm glad your son is happy. I think he has a dedicated and good mother,” replied one user. Other responses came from acquaintances in her circle and in the television world, such as Toñi Moreno: “I die with his happy face.”

An intimate and emotional moment that adds to the long list that could be recorded last night. Adriana Dorronsoro, collaborator of Let's see on Telecinco, highlighted another striking episode in this Friday's program, although not in the best sense of the word: "They tell me that there was an influencer that we all know, who is very famous in Spain, “María Pombo tried to sneak onto the Grammys red carpet.”

“I'm not saying I wasn't invited, of course I was. But the information I get is that she tried to sneak onto the red carpet. She wanted to pose in that photocall in which only the stars who were presenting awards could pose before the media, singers and some celebrities like Victoria Federica, who were hired by some brands," he highlighted, despite the fact that Pombo managed to get his way and pose with her husband and sister.
