Isabel Chávarri breaks down when remembering her sister Marta: "She was happy with her granddaughter"

Last Friday a piece of news came to light that shocked Spanish society. Marta Chávarri, icon of the gossip in the 80s and 90s, was found dead at her home in the Madrid capital.

Although she did not have any serious illness and did not present any type of complication in her state of health, the former Marquise of Cubas died at the age of 62. Her event left her family broken and speechless, since they did not expect to have to fire Alberto Cortina's ex-wife so soon.

The person who found the lady's lifeless body was her assistant, who quickly called her relatives and medical professionals. Although the latter arrived quickly, the doctors could not do anything other than certify the death of the woman.

According to sources close to the family, their environment is speechless. In some statements that Tamara Falcó's cousin gave to the press, he acknowledged being shocked and very sad: "We are devastated. He has caught us by surprise. Last June, Chávarri had become a grandmother thanks to the arrival of little Philippa, daughter of Álvaro Falcó and Isabelle Junot, and she was enjoying a very beautiful time in her life. "She was a super grandmother," said people close to her circle.

Another of the people who has felt the loss of Chávarri the most has been his sister Isabel, with whom he was very close and whom the press could see destroyed when he arrived at the family home.

Although for days she has avoided making statements and has dodged the press, the woman has finally given in and has spoken to the media for the first time. On this occasion, it was the Europa Press media exclusively that captured the thoughts of the sister of the deceased: ''She was happy with her granddaughter. She was the best in the world. The best person, the best mother, the best sister, the best. The best".

Marta Chávarri had been away from the spotlight for decades, although we could see her on the cover of a gossip magazine at the wedding of her son Álvaro Falcó. Although she was one of the most famous women of the time, most journalists who covered her life agree that the woman suffered great media pressure and that the media was not fair to her.

The reason that led the 62-year-old woman to death has not yet been officially clarified, but Paloma Barrientos explained in El Programa de Ana Rosa that, after consulting with a close friend of Chávarri, her sudden death could be due to a stroke.

For this same reason, the mother of the Chávarri sisters died when Marta was only 19 years old. It should be noted that some sources close to the circle have stated that the deceased had had severe headaches for a few days before her death.
