Irene Montero reacts to Laura Escanes' complaint after published manipulated photos of her naked

Laura Escanes is going through a few very quiet days. The well-known influencer had announced that she was taking a temporary break from social networks, to enjoy her vacation and regain energy. However, a series of uncomfortable situations have forced her to return to the virtual world to warn her followers. Some complicated moments both emotionally and in subsequent actions to be taken, but in which she has found solid support.

Irene Montero, Acting Minister for Equality, has responded affirmatively to a new message from Escanes, in which she reiterated her disdain after being a victim of the practice of deepfake, consisting of creating false images without consent through the use of artificial intelligence. Some "photographs" in which the presenter also appeared naked, and that forced her to react forcefully in various writings published in X.

“I have received a link where there are nude photos of me edited and created by AI. Apart from feeling totally used and exposed, there is something that makes my blood boil. A woman's body is not used. Neither for pleasure, nor to abuse or manipulate. I am disgusted by the person who created them, but also by those who are there and find it funny and are silent, ”denounced the Catalan this past Tuesday, showing her total rejection.

A rejection that she reiterated with a new message this Wednesday morning, after another user of the social network tried to criticize her for other nude images that Escanes herself published previously. “If I want to undress, I undress myself. Like in those photos. But I have not given consent for them to edit a photo of me to put me on my boobs and put a random pussy. Let's see if we understand it, ”she wrote as a reply.

Some statements reinforced by the response of Irene Montero, who defended Escanes in his plea on consent. “It's just like that. Explained for everyone to understand. The message found several supporters lost among a multitude of criticisms and messages related to the minister's past actions. "It doesn't matter, they're going to continue without understanding it. It is man's relationship with pornography. They only see things over which they have every right”, pointed out a user.

This is the second instance so far this week in which Escanes has to warn his followers about problems with his image: "'Hello, I'm back because I keep receiving messages that there is an alleged advertisement that uses my image to scam with an app or something. If it's not something I post on my account, please ignore it. It seems very mean to me that they want to scam you using the image of someone you know ”, he warned this past Monday.
