HBO Max gains muscle with the presentation of its series for 2024

We are in december. Nothing is missing for 2024. HBO Max, to whet your appetite and above all gain muscle, has published a promotional video with all the news that awaits its subscribers in the next twelve months. The only bad news? That the images have served to confirm a delay: And just like that, the sequel to Sex and the City, will not be able to broadcast its third season this next year and will return in 2025 like The last of us, The white lotus and Euphoria, whose delays had already been announced.

In the video, for example, you can see Jodie Foster in the fourth season of True Detective, which is set in Alaska although it was filmed in the landscapes of Iceland. Written by Issa López, with creator Nic Pizzolatto removed from the direction and script, it will be released on January 15. There's also Kate Winslet in The Regime, a political satire that imagines the Titanic actress as the president of a Central European dictatorship.

You can see images of The Sympathizer with Robert Downey Jr, which focuses on a spy during the Vietnam War; Kit Harington as the main signing of Industry, the corrosive series about London's financial sector; the twelfth season of Curb your enthusiasm, here released as Larry David, where the comedian who wrote Seinfeld has creative freedom to write what he wants and produce the episodes when he wants.

In addition, you can see a preview of The House of the Dragon, scheduled for summer; the return of critically acclaimed series such as Somebody Somewhere, Hacks or The Great Friend; the second part of The Jinx, the true crime about Robert Durst, whose first season served to arrest the suspect in three murders; or The Franchise, the ambitious comedy written by Armando Ianucci (Veep) and Sam Mendes (American Beauty) about the difficulties of filming a superhero movie.

And what else? A new series derived from the fictional universe Pretty Little Liars and titled Summer School, the second season of Tokyo Vice by Michael Mann or Penguin, the spin-off of Robert Pattinson's Batman with Colin Farrell as the protagonist under kilos of prosthetic makeup .

What hurts, however, is to see what cartridges they have in store for 2025: the already mentioned And just like that, Euphoria, The last of us and The white lotus, in addition to Welcome to Derry, the prequel to It by Stephen King of which You can see the first images.
