Fernando Verdasco has opened up to Bertín and wanted to tell how he met his wife. He has even recalled the moment when he realized that she was the woman of his life. It was in 2012 at a concert by Enrique Iglesias.
“The day I met Ana was at the Enrique (Iglesias) concert here in Madrid, in 2012. Life gave me a half-signal. I had a girlfriend, but after three days I had to leave her. Well, not after three days, but after weeks ”, the tennis player started explaining.
"What happened? I went to the concert. I already knew Enrique. It was the weekend before the Mutua de Madrid. Right during that Mutua, I played with Nadal. I had lost 13 times in a row against Nadal as a professional. We played and I beat him ", he recalled.
"I said 'this is a sign from God' and that's when I reconsidered and said: I have to leave my girlfriend and start chipping away at stone," said the visibly happy tennis player of his choice.
Bertín asked the tennis player about the moment he decided to propose to Isabel Preysler's daughter: "It was out of a movie. I'm lazier than milk. When I asked her, I cried more than she did. It was very nice", Fernando has assured excited.
