Federico Jiménez Losantos joins Ana Rosa Quintana to discuss current political events

Ana Rosa Quintana has not started her assault on television afternoons in the most positive way. This Monday marks four weeks since the premiere of TardeAR, the evening show with which to start a new and long-lasting stage after 18 years occupying the morning slot. However, the audience data has not been consistent, being beaten by Y Ahora Sonsoles, and receiving criticism of different kinds for segments and interventions by its collaborators.

Now that the program reaches its month of broadcast, the veteran presenter seeks to make a splash to win the game against Antena 3. She will do so with an interview with another journalist who is not usually lavished by other media: Federico Jiménez Losantos. The director of esRadio will be on the TardeAR set this Monday to talk with Ana Rosa, in a meeting that puts him on the other side of the fishbowl compared to his colleagues.

And it is worth highlighting the presence of several well-known names for Orihuela del Tremedal in And now Sonsoles. To begin with, Ónega counts Isabel González, deputy director of It's Federico's Morning, in her ranks as a collaborator. Likewise, other members of the Crónica Rosa de Losantos participate in the Atresmedia magazine: Dani Carande, Carlos Pérez Gimeno, Beatriz Miranda and Beatriz Cortázar, former collaborator of Ana Rosa.

The possible content of the interview has not been revealed, but the Mediaset network has announced that Quintana and Losantos will talk about current affairs and politics. A possibility framed within The Firm, the program closing editorials that the communicator has introduced on the list in the last programs. An option that will allow the two journalists to comment on various fronts that have opened in Spain in recent weeks.

He will not be the only figure who will be present in the Telecinco magazine this week. Another confirmed guest, specifically for next Wednesday, is the actor Jaime Lorente. The Murcian is one of the rising names on the Spanish interpretive scene, close to turning 32 years old. After participating in successful projects such as La casa de papel, El Cid or Cristo y Rey, Lorente will speak at length with Ana Rosa Quintana in Fuencarral.

With these movements, Telecinco hopes to stop the hemorrhage of viewers in the afternoon after the goodbye of Sálvame. A situation that would be even more complicated with the entry of a new competitor: La Plaza on La 1, with Jordi González. For the moment, Sonsoles Ónega has won the game against Ana Rosa during the two weeks of this three-way duel, accumulating 835,000 viewers compared to TardeAR's 774,000 from October 2 to 6.
