Daniel Sancho asks the Thai police to recover only this article of clothing

The investigation into the murder of Edwin Arrieta has revealed numerous details. However, in the midst of this complex case on the other side of the world, a particularly singular element has drawn attention: the concern of Daniel Sancho, the confessed murderer, for a hat that belonged to his grandfather, the renowned Sancho Gracia.

As the investigations progress and the reconstructions of the crime are disclosed, what could be considered a mere detail has become a key piece to understand the humanity and feelings that are hidden beneath the apparent coldness of Rodolfo Sancho's son.

As could be seen in the videos broadcast by Y Ahora Sonsoles, in the middle of the investigation, in the reception of a Thai hotel, the young Spanish chef showed unusual concern, momentarily diverting the focus of the investigation towards a personal search. "I left my shoes, some clothes and a hat," he anxiously confessed to the police accompanying him.

The hat in question, as Daniel Sancho explained to those present, had belonged to his grandfather, Sancho Gracia. Although the investigation focuses on the events that led to Arrieta's murder, this detail about the hat has been highlighted due to Sancho's insistence and concern about it.

While Sancho was detailing the items he had left at the hotel, one of the police officers reported a black bag they had picked up earlier, suggesting it might contain the young man's belongings, including his hat. Faced with this revelation, Daniel made a specific request to the agents present: "Can you take care of the hat? Because it belonged to my grandfather and I don't want to lose it."

So far, the hat has not been presented in the released images, nor has information been provided about its exact location or its status. However, Sancho's request has been registered and it is likely that those in charge of the investigation will take action on the matter.
