Dani Alves' statement before the judge: "I asked him twice if he liked it and he said yes"

Little by little more details about the case of Dani Alves come to light. The soccer player was jailed on January 20 after being accused of an alleged rape of a 23-year-old girl at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. While justice is assessing whether to release the Brazilian or, on the contrary, keep him in prison, the athlete's latest statements have come to light. Cadena SER has had access to the full transcript of the footballer's entire statement on April 17, where he tries to dismantle the victim's version.

As revealed by the aforementioned medium, on December 30, 2022, Dani Alves attended a work dinner in Barcelona. "It was a reunion dinner with friends after the World Cup," said the Brazilian in his last statement. After the engagement, Alves went to the disco with his friend Bruno. Upon arrival at the premises, they were guarded up to table 6. "They put us there for the simple fact that this table has a bathroom," said the player, saying that this way they avoided problems going to the restrooms of the general public.

This is the athlete's fourth statement before the judge. In it, he claimed to have proposed to the victim to be intimate in the bathroom and get a yes for an answer. "Those girls came to our private room, but we did not insist, nor did the waiter to them," Alves started explaining. "I could tell her good disposition from the way she danced, how she moved closer to me, how we traded positions," he continued.

The soccer player came to say in his last statement that, while they had relations, the victim consented twice. "I told her to move all that to the bathroom. She told me yes, that there was no problem. I told her that I would go first and that I would wait for her inside," said the former Futbol Club Barcelona player. According to his account, inside the toilet things were very different from what the girl denounced. Alves assures that while she performed fellatio on him, she asked him "twice if he liked her" and he said yes.

At the end of relations, the Brazilian assured the judge that he told her that he would leave the bathroom before and asked her to wait a few minutes to do it herself. It is this that Alves believes that he made her angry, which is why he would have ended up denouncing him for rape. "If he had seen her at her exit, he would have stopped her to ask her what had happened to her because until then everything was fine, within what we wanted," he sentenced.

"I was simply an accomplice of the desire that she had or of the ones that I had," Alves settled in his speech, continuing with his argument that the relationships were always consented to by the girl. The Brazilian's version of what happened that night is the complete opposite of what the victim has maintained from the outset. It should be remembered that the young woman's story is also supported by the evidence collected by the scientific police. The young woman assures that Alves locked her in the bathroom and penetrated her after throwing her to the ground and violently forcing her to perform fellatio. On the other hand, he assures that they were consensual relationships.
