Dani Alves receives a visit from his ex-wife and their children in prison

Almost four months have passed since January 20, 2023, the day Dani Alves had to go to prison after being accused of raping a 23-year-old girl in Sutton, a renowned Barcelona nightclub. Since then, those closest to him have defended his innocence tooth and nail. This is the case of his mother, his brothers and his ex-wife, Dinora Santana. Precisely, the footballer's ex-partner arrived in Barcelona this week, and this Saturday she was seen in the vicinity of Brians 2. The woman has come to see Alves along with her two children in common with him, Daniel and Victoria, aged 16 and 15 years, respectively.

Dinora and her children have traveled to Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona), the place where the prison is located, in order to visit the former soccer player of Futbol Club Barcelona, who has been behind bars since last January. The media, which were in the vicinity of this prison, have witnessed the moment in which the family entered the compound. Both her mother and her children have preferred to remain silent.

As we said in the previous lines, the family of Dani Alves landed in the Catalan capital last Thursday with the aim of finding a school for their two children. Alves' defense, led by Cristóbal Martell, has designed a strategy that has the Brazilian's ex-wife as its protagonist. According to his plans, they expect Dinora and his two children to show that the footballer has family roots in our country, which is why they would move to Barcelona.

This move also seeks to demonstrate that Alves has no intention of escaping outside of Spain. However, the Prosecutor's Office and the victim's lawyer, Ester García, have shown their rejection of the release since the soccer player could take advantage of it to escape to Brazil or to another country that does not have extradition agreements with Spain. For his part, his ex-wife trusts his innocence. "Of course, of course. I hope it comes out," he told the press on his arrival in Barcelona.

Dinora's plans are to go to Brazil again and return to Barcelona in September, for the start of the school year. "The two children already have a school. It is about Sant Peters, a renowned school that is located in the upper area of Barcelona. In this way they will try to plead and request provisional release, but with charges," said Carlos Quilez in the program Y ahora Sonsoles.

As we have been saying, Dinora believes in Dani's innocence, and has made it clear on more than one occasion. This is how she assured it in The Ana Rosa Program a few weeks ago. In said space, she insisted that "there is nothing that incriminates him." "Dani is not a rapist, how is he in prison? That is what does not enter my head. All his life he has had an impeccable image of him, because he is an impeccable person," she said.
