Cristina Pedroche and Dabiz Muñoz on the verge of dissolving their partnership due to economic problems

Another setback for Cristina Pedroche and her husband, chef Dabiz Muñoz. The couple is going through an idyllic moment after welcoming their first daughter, Laia, on July 14 in Madrid. The arrival of the little girl has filled the presenter and the cook with happiness, as we have been able to see through her social networks.

A situation that contrasts a lot with the panorama they have in the professional field. And it seems that the marriage is going through a difficult time at work, which has tarnished their happiness after becoming first-time parents.

As published by Semana magazine, chef Dabid Muñoz is completely drowned by the debts of his holding company Pig Wings, or what is the same, Flying Pigs. This company carries a negative equity of more than three million euros, so it would be in dissolution due to losses, as reported by the El Confidencial outlet.

But the marriage has been able to avoid this bankruptcy situation thanks to the accounting amnesty that was approved by the Government of Pedro Sánchez. This new measure by the current government in office serves so that companies affected by the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic do not have to correct these equity imbalances until the end of 2024.

This new measure has provided a real respite for thousands of businessmen and self-employed workers who during the confinement in 2020 saw their income drop completely to zero.

But the truth is that this is not the first time that Cristina Pedroche's husband has faced such a situation. In December 2021, the Spanish chef assured that he had many debts. A difficult financial moment that caused the couple to have to close the StreetXO restaurant in London. And it is that this restaurant did not come to fruition among the inhabitants of the English capital. Something that has worked in the Spanish capital, as we have seen on numerous occasions.
