“Children are much more adults than their mother”: Arús attacks Shakira after her speech at the Latin Grammys

This Thursday, Shakira became one of the brand new protagonists of the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy 2023. Rosalía impressed with her flamenco version of Se nos roto el amor, the famous song by Rocío Jurado, but the Colombian left the spectators speechless with his performance on the Sevillian stage.

Of course, the one from Barranquilla also gave a lot to talk about after collecting the award for Best Pop Song, the viral song performed with Bizarrap that reviews her ex Gerard Piqué. However, not everyone liked his words. One of them has been Alfonso Arús, who made his opinion on the matter clear this morning.

Accompanied by her children Milan and Sasha, the Colombian artist began the gala by thanking her Spanish fans for their support and revealing that she has gone through difficult times in the country, referring to her separation from Gerard Piqué.

After an emotional performance of Acrosticus, dressed in a golden costume with the image of a Sorrowful Virgin on her chest, her children joined her, projected on the screens while they sang verses from the song. This musical piece represents Shakira's farewell to Barcelona and Piqué, marking a moving moment during the gala.

Shortly after, Shakira and Bizarrap won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Song of the Year. Here Shakira took advantage of the moment to say a few words to her children Milan and Sasha: "I want to dedicate this award to my children because I have promised them that I am going to be happy, that they are going to have a mother who is going to smile." And she added: "There is nothing in the past, only the future is remembered."

This gesture has not gone unnoticed. In fact, Aruser@s commented this Friday on Shakira's speech and her clear allusions to Gerard Piqué. "Well, it's the first time that a mother promises her children that she will be happy. Luckily, the page has turned," Alfonso Arús highlighted.

"Here's the thing, these words give the impression that the children are aware of anything that happens to the mother and the mother's emotional state. I think what is important for these children, since they have changed countries, It would be for them to see her happy once and for all," added the presenter's wife, Angie Cárdenas.

Then, Arús did not hesitate to reprimand Shakira with: "That phrase shows that children are much more adults than the mother, because it is the mother who has to promise the children that she will be happy." "Children are what make you a psychologist," said Tatiana Arús by way of reflection.
