Carlos Latre explains in 'El Hormiguero' how the study of his brain is being carried out

Summer is over and 'El Hormiguero' is back with a promising season. After receiving Isabel Pantoja and the brothers Mario and Óscar Casas this week, the Pablo Motos program welcomes Carlos Latre, one of his star collaborators.

The comedian is on tour with his 'One Man Show', and has taken advantage of his time in the capital to visit the ant show. Carlos Latre has starred in endless moments in El Hormiguero, becoming figures such as the emeritus king or Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

Pablo Motos has taken the opportunity to ask him about the study of his brain that a team of scientists is currently carrying out, to which Latre has revealed: "We believe that your ability to imitate comes from the ability to observe. The ability of a normal person is 60, 70% and I got 98%"

The comedian has told more about the experiment: "One of the tests was to eliminate all the sound and make noise while I was making the characters. That's when I realized that I was using technique and could make the characters the same." In this way, scientists have discovered that it is possible to teach the technique to deaf people, with autism or aphasia: "They will be able to learn to speak without hearing themselves, simply by knowing the air they breathe out," says Latre.

The comedian is one more in the El Hormiguero family. Through his imitations and his section 'El teléfono escacharrado', Carlos Latre has generated laughter on set with each of his visits.

Carlos Latre's visit was a surprise, since Pablo Motos expected to interview Miguel Bosé today. The artist has not been able to attend due to health problems that would have prevented him from attending his appointment. Apparently, Bosé was already ill last Tuesday at the Vitoria FesTVal, where he went to present his project with the Telefónica platform, which could have caused his physical condition to worsen.
