This time it was in an interview for the Mutua Madrid Open podcast, 'Iguales', presented by Jaime Álvarez (aka Gravesen). During the conversation, Gravesen talks about the jokes that are made in the rest of Spain, with the Region of Murcia.
Carlos Alcaraz once again defends his land and regrets that "Murcia is very undervalued, you have said it: there are many memes of Murcia, where Murcia is, the Murcians... because they really haven't gone."
Thus, the young tennis player has ensured that anyone he talks to and has visited Murcia "leave delighted: we have a beach, mountains, we have good weather, good food. There are spectacular places."
Alcaraz has taken advantage of his speech to warn all those who mock Murcia: "Those who have not gone and are creating this type of meme will regret everything they have said about Murcia because they will be delighted."
Gravesen has praised the pride that Alcaraz de Murcia always shows, and the products of his land. In this sense, the tennis player has recognized that his intention is "to put Murcia on the map because I love my city, my home and that is what we are trying to convey".
