Bigote Arrocet clarifies how the end of his relationship with María Teresa Campos was: "I didn't leave her on WhatsApp, nor was I unfaithful to her"

After the death of María Teresa Campos at the beginning of last September, one of the most talked about topics has been her relationship with Edmundo Arrocet, better known as Bigote. The one who was once the journalist's partner has spoken on several occasions about the romance that both had in recent weeks. "Just because Edmundo is over doesn't mean the world is over," María Teresa Campos told the magazine ¡Hola! when the end of this relationship came to light. Now, he has been very angry during an interview with La Razón, and assures that the breakup was not as everyone says it was.

According to what the renowned journalist said at the time, Bigote had broken up with her through a WhatsApp message. Now, the Chilean has once again denied this version during an interview with the Egos section of La Razón. "I have felt great sadness for her death because she was a great woman. We were together for six years and they are all beautiful memories, and I repeat that that story did not end through a WhatsApp," Arrocet stated flatly.

The Chilean claims to be fed up with all the comments that have been made about the end of this relationship. "I don't want controversy with Teresita's family. But don't let anyone take me for a fool. I wasn't the cause of her decline, nor did I leave her on WhatsApp, nor was I unfaithful to her in the six years we were together. Many lies are being told about me," said the comedian.

Edmundo is very angry, since he considers that the image that is being projected on him is not fair. The Chilean believes that he is being labeled as the bad guy in the movie, and blames the journalist's daughters, Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego, for this. "I'm not the bad guy. As far as possible, with everything they're saying about me, I feel fine. I'm already used to Teresita's daughters calling me everything, and I barely name them, but a feeling has formed. Terrible mess. I don't pay any attention to them...", he expressed in said interview.

"No extensions, no hair implants. They invent everything," he expressed angrily, ensuring that many lies are told about him. "I have nothing to talk to them... Does anyone think they were going to retract all the bad things they say about me? Surely not. I imagine they have an economic motive, to make money at the expense of messing with me. For them, everything "Everything bad that happens on the planet is my fault," he said.

On the other hand, in said interview, Arrocet insists that the veteran journalist's daughters barely cared about her during their relationship. "They know perfectly well that I am not lying, that they barely visited her in the years that I was with her. Terelu, barely six times, and Carmen, less. That is the pure truth," he revealed, in a new attack on the Campos.

In addition, he highlights how happy he was with the presenter, and assures that only the two of them knew it. "I know what I was for Teresa, how happy we were together and how much we loved each other. That's why the evil of those who insist on tarnishing a story that was very beautiful while it lasted is so annoying. I don't regret anything, I have the very clear conscience. And if I have made a mistake in something, it has been without realizing it," he stated.
