Berto Romero's reaction to Broncano's surreal proposal: “I find it somewhat humiliating”

This Tuesday, La Resistencia had the presence of comedian Berto Romero, who came to present his new series on Movistar Plus, The Other Side, a fiction where a poltergeist phenomenon is narrated in a hive apartment on the outskirts of Barcelona.

However, David Broncano did not want to pass up the opportunity to have the comedian to put him in trouble and, mainly, to make a surreal request. In fact, the proposal was going so far out of hand that Berto himself did not hesitate to make clear how “humiliating” it was and, therefore, his refusal to carry it out. And the thing is, the game is between comedians.

“If you want, I'll jump down the stairs,” Berto Romero initially proposed to David Broncano as the final show at the end of La Resistencia. However, the presenter had a better proposal, more surreal and disconcerting than that of his guest. “Do you want to drink water from a puddle?” Broncano wanted to know.

Faced with Berto's refusal, the man from Jaén insisted with “What is it costing you?” while he asked the program team to “recreate a puddle.” To which Berto explained why he refused to do something like that: “I come prepared to throw myself down the stairs: Why do you have to get the letter out of the puddle?”

“Drink water from the ground like a wildebeest, it costs you nothing,” the presenter persisted. Which caused the reaction of the guest who blurted out: “Go fuck yourself! "I find it somewhat humiliating." And for Berto, “I see throwing myself down the stairs as close to physical comedy, drinking from a puddle is more like begging. No".

However, Broncano didn't care and continued: "Prepare him and at the end of the program I will see how I direct him towards that moment." When the time came, production came in with a bucket of water, the same one where Valeria Ros had done the apnea test. “I'm going to throw the water on the ground so you can drink,” Broncano told Berto.

“My problem is that I don't want to drink from the floor because it is very dirty,” the comedian excused himself. Next, the presenter grabbed water with his hands and here the guest took the opportunity to throw it in his face, jump down the stairs and run out of the theater where the program is recorded in Madrid.
