Last June, Sálvame said goodbye to Spanish television after 15 years in which the format managed to change history and show a new way of creating television content currently from the heart. A program that was leaving Telecinco and that, despite the fact that many thought it would disappear forever, made an unexpected leap to Netflix.
After several weeks of recordings on some of the best-known tabloid and current affairs programs in the United States or Mexico, the most popular Sálvame collaborators returned to Spain, becoming new celebrities on the other side of the pond. A work that was known to be released sometime in 2024, still with an unknown date; but that finally it is known when it will be, and thanks to a mistake by Belén Esteban.
The collaborator attended the premiere of My Solitude Has Wings, the film in which the actor Mario Casas makes his debut as a director, to answer some questions from the media. The one from Paracuellos reappeared after her journey through Latin America happier than ever, and she happily answered questions from the media who asked her about what the program will be like on the streaming platform and the release date.
Thus, perhaps due to an oversight, the collaborator revealed perhaps more than what those responsible for her next project would have liked, which will finally be released this year and not next year, as originally thought.
“Our program comes out in October. It's been a few days of pure fantasy. I can't say anything, but people have to see it", the "People's Princess" confirmed to the media, setting the expected premiere date of the new reality show, still without a title, for next October.
At the moment, little is known about what this new program will be like. Due to the little progress that was made when Sálvame was still on the air, it could be a day-to-day monitoring of the eight collaborators - Belén Esteban, Terelu Campos, Kiko Matamoros, Lydia Lozano, Chelo García Cortés, Víctor Sandoval, Kiko Hernández and María Patiño- across the pond going to look for work. We have seen them on shows like Sit whoever can, on Univisión; and as expected, the little that has been revealed already confirms that they have devastated.
A reality show that already had a very promising presentation, as soon as the end of Sálvame was revealed on Mediaset, with a trailer that broke all audience expectations on digital platforms, with millions of views.
