Last Thursday, social networks exploded against Carmen Lomana because of a moment of maximum tension she had with Pilar Vidal in Espejo Público. The program presented by Susanna Griso brought to the table in its block of events a problem that affects a part of society, fatphobia.
Immediately afterwards, the presenter headed to the other side of the set to begin the social chronicle section, where other collaborators were waiting for her. ''I'm already live and, therefore, I can't attend it, but you have to tell me what happened,'' Griso began. And the content meeting prior to the program had ended in conflict.
''He called me fat, let all of Spain know it. Mrs. Carmen Lomana, who is all about peace, love, supereducation, called me fat,'' said Pilar Vidal, visibly affected by what just happened. ''I haven't called you fat because I wasn't referring to you,'' said Carmen Lomana.
''You did it on purpose, everyone has seen it. Women your age can't have your body. You don't know behind each person who is overweight if there is a hormonal problem, derived from mental health or medication. So, since you don't know because you live in your science fiction world, you dedicate yourself to insulting,'' the journalist stated.
Given this, the networks have exploded against the socialite and have defended Pilar Vidal. But they have not been the only ones. Belén Esteban, a great friend of the journalist since they coincided working on Sálvame, did not hesitate to come out in her defense: "My dear Pilar Vidal, I am with you, if she is not your body, don't give your opinion."
"There are many people who love you, others don't...", published the one from Paracuellos, sending a dart to Carmen Lomana for what happened. But it seems that this animosity with the businesswoman goes much further, since she assures that she does not have much support.
