Ricardo Gómez and Belén Cuesta visited El Hormiguero tonight to present their latest professional adventure, Romancero. This series presents a variety of genres such as horror, thriller, drama... and following the plot, and that tonight is Halloween, Pablo Motos could not help but ask the actors about the most terrifying situation they have experienced.
Belén Cuesta has been clear about it from the first moment. “I have never been more scared in my life,” he confessed. Her “her event,” as she herself has called it, dates back to a trip she took with some friends to Prague.
Apparently, when they arrived at the apartment they had rented, they realized that it was too small for everyone, so the landlady offered them to also take the apartment that was on the upper floor, to be more comfortable.
Despite the extra space they had, all the friends ended up sleeping in the same house, except for the last night. To sleep better, Belén Cuesta and another roommate decided to sleep on the other floor to be more comfortable since they had to get up early the next day to catch the train.
When he went to bed "when I was about to fall asleep at the door (which was made of glass) loud knocks began to sound and there was no one there." Given what happened, Cuesta confessed that "I huddled with my friend" under the sheet out of fear. Afterwards, they both came out with two hangers as weapons, but no one was there. They even left the apartment and saw nothing.
Unable to explain what happened with logical reasoning, the actress has classified this anecdote as a “paranormal event” and has acknowledged that “I have never been more scared in my life.” After the anecdote, Ricardo Gómez asked the actress again where she had experienced that event, because if it had been in Amsterdam “I had an explanation.”
