Belinda Washington apologizes after her disastrous test at the 'Grand Prix' with an allusion to Paquita Salas

Last Monday a new Grand Prix program was broadcast, the last one before the semifinals. On this occasion, the famous guests to accompany the peoples were the Spanish rapper Arkano and the actress and television presenter Belinda Washington.

The actress of Paquita Salas had a very special role, since she had to be the godmother of the Asturian town of Tineo, a municipality that finally managed to qualify and will be fighting in the next phase of the contest presented by Ramón García on the public channel.

Although the program was full of "momentazos" and the residents of both towns (Tineo and Los Montesinos) enjoyed the experience and made the audience laugh, Belinda Washington became the true protagonist of the episode.

The actress participated in the mythical bowling test guiding a neighbor from Tineo who was blindfolded and had to knock down the opponents. Although it is difficult not to drop any of the pins on the ground, the artist's instructions did not help the man, who desperately tried to complete the test in the best possible way.

''You have to wake up, come on, wake up,'' the presenter said nervously and excitedly as she gave the wrong directions and the pitcher pointed in a completely wrong direction.

Social networks were filled with humorous comments commenting that the test looked like a scene from the Paquita Salas series and that Belinda was especially clueless. ''My mother giving me directions to park'', ''My godmother did it wrong'' or ''She thought that no one could overcome Lolita's lousy instructions'' are some of the comments that can be read on the Internet.

Faced with such a wave of comments talking about her lousy performance, the British-born actress chose to take it humorously and wrote a tweet implying that it had all been a sketch from the mythical series created by Los Javis and starring Brays Efe: " What a mess! I apologize. It is not mine. Paquita, I told you that in the bowling test she was not going to hit the ball!''.

Fans of the format and of the comic series were delighted with Belinda's response to the messages on the networks and praised her great sense of humor: "The laughs you gave the audience are priceless."

After four episodes being the undisputed leader on Monday night, it can be said that the public channel program has become one of the phenomena of the moment and one of the great television hits of the year 2023.

Although this week it has suffered a visible drop due to the festive long weekend, it still managed to score a more than good 15.8% audience share and 1,198 million viewers on average on La 1.
