Ana Rosa Quintana, very nervous before the start of her new program on Telecinco: "I'll think about it"

In mid-May, news came to light that shocked Spanish society: the new leadership of Mediaset España had decided to cancel the mythical Telecinco program Sálvame to give the network a new image and thus recover the leadership of hearings.

The newspaper El Mundo published the information exclusively and the workers and collaborators of the space dedicated to the gossip press found out live, something that did not go down very well with the team in general.

Although from the La Fábrica de la Tele program the decision of the dome was made with humor and they understood that everything that begins ends, the fans of the format that had been broadcasting uninterruptedly for 14 years in the afternoons of Telecinco exploded on social networks. The popular response reached such an extreme that many spoke of demonstrating against the measure.

In addition, the heads of Mediaset España not only decided to end the program by Belén Esteban and Chelo García Cortes, but also announced that, starting in September, it would be Ana Rosa Quintana who would occupy that time slot with a new magazine called TardeAR.

The veteran communicator thus leaves the space that up to now has carried her name, El Programa de Ana Rosa, after 19 years as 'the queen of mornings' and embarks on a new professional project at the request of the channel.

As is known for now, TardeAR will begin in mid-September and will mix political content with the gossip, so Quintana will not stray far from what he was doing in the mornings on Telecinco. In this new slot, the Madrid native will compete with Sonsoles Ónega on Antena 3 and Jordi González on the public channel.

Currently, the journalist is enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Sotogrande. Last Tuesday, August 15, Quintana publicly reappeared at the concert that Rosario Flores gave in the town of Cádiz and revealed that she was having a very "quiet" summer: "This is like being at home and I have been able to enjoy my family ".

Although she is one of the most prestigious communicators in our country, Ana Rosa Quintana admitted feeling nervous about the premiere of her new program, since she has been in the same space for many years and this represents a new personal and professional challenge for her.

"I'm going to finish the summer and then I'll think. Everything is underway," explained the writer, making it clear that for now she did not want to think about the new format and that when she arrives in the capital of Spain she will focus on her work.
