Ana Rosa Quintana rescues one of her most remembered companions for 'TardeAR'

After eighteen years in charge of one of the most important programs on Telecinco, Ana Rosa Quintana is preparing for a substantial change in her career. Ana Rosa's program closed its doors last week, starting the countdown for the arrival of TardeAR from September. At the moment, the construction work on the set is already underway, as are the signings to complete the team. One of them is a very heartfelt return.

As La Razón and VerTele have confirmed, Antonio Hidalgo will once again participate in a heartfelt program by the Madrid presenter, twenty years after their last joint appearance. The veteran television figure will be one of the new collaborators of the evening magazine, bringing together one of the most iconic couples on the small screen in the early 2000s. A signing that adds to that of Manu Marlasca.

Hidalgo and Quintana were the duo that was in charge of Sabor a ti, a tabletop magazine that aired on Antena 3 between 1998 and 2004. Both coincided between 2000 and 2002, gaining notoriety among viewers. This signing marks the return of the man from Madrid to state television after spending this last stretch of his career on La 7, the Murcia regional channel, where he presented programs such as Los 7 magníficos, El Pinchazo or Ailoviu.

Similarly, Hidalgo already had a warm-up phase at the beginning of last month. During the June 4 broadcast, the collaborator made his debut on the Fiesta program, presented by Emma García, to prepare for his premiere with Ana Rosa starting in September. The television station was in charge of presenting a section of viral videos, thus taking some prominence for several minutes of broadcast. It was an approach to Mediaset that paid off.

As we mentioned previously, Antonio Hidalgo is not the only outstanding signing that Ana Rosa Quintana is preparing for TardeAR. A few weeks ago the incorporation of Manu Marlasca was known, who since 2012 was part of the cast of La Sexta. A new face to complete a powerful team for the great challenge of Telecinco in the autumn: to recover the audience lost in recent months, which since the end of Sálvame have continued to decline.

Marlasca is best known for his appearances on Más vale tarde, the afternoon program on the second Atresmedia channel, of which he has been a part since its premiere. The communicator came to the group from the magazine Interviú, which closed in 2018, where he was deputy to the director, and since arriving at the green channel, he has combined his work on the program with that of head of investigation at La Sexta Noticias .
