Although only a few weeks have passed since the alleged crime committed by Daniel Sancho in Thailand became known, the first details about the trial that the Spaniard will undergo are already known. The son of the actor Rodolfo Sancho is accused of murdering the Colombian doctor Edwin Arrieta, something that could mean the death penalty for him and that remains in the hands of the judge.
Although the date on which it will be held is still unknown, everything indicates that the appointment will take place between the last days of this year 2023 and the first days of 2024, according to the words of Big Joke, number two of the Thai police. It is also already known which is the court that will judge Sancho, some data to which the YAS Verano program, on Antena 3, has had access.
From the Koh Samui prison, where Sancho would currently be according to the version of his surroundings, the journalist Juanjo Martínez has recounted the location of the complex and how the trial of Daniel Sancho will unfold. "He is 4 minutes from jail; we have gone to try to record the courtroom and we have filled out a letter requesting an interview and recording with the cameras," he said, something for which he has received an affirmative response from the Thai authorities.
"The president of the provincial court has received us, we have had to put on some masks and we have spoken with him for a long time," he added, going on to tell the details of the trial. "What he has told us is that cameras cannot be put in there, or take a single photograph," he assured.
Juanjo Martínez confirms that it will be a totally hermetic trial and that the media will not be able to access it or tell what happens there. "That trial will not be able to be recorded either, journalists will not be able to enter with a pen or a piece of paper, and we will have to be without crossing our legs or arms," he recounted.
