Albert Cavallé, the swindler of love, in search and capture

Albert Cavallé is once again in the media spotlight. The "love scammer" did not appear two days ago at an oral hearing for a new case of alleged fraud against women. For this reason, the criminal court number 1 of Barcelona has issued a search and capture order for Cavallé.

In addition, the Barcelona Prosecutor's Office has also indicated in the order the entry into prison for the accused so that he can be tried. And it is that Albert Cavallé is accused of a crime of continued fraud.

Cavallé had scheduled a trial on May 31 and did not appear and did not even give the pertinent explanations. His lawyer, on his part, did not explain the absence of the defendant to the Prosecutor's Office either. And since what the Public Ministry is asking for is a sentence of more than two years, the oral hearing could not be done without him. The Barcelona Prosecutor's Office asks for him three years in prison for the crimes of continued fraud and compensation to the victim of 850 euros as civil liability.

"The love swindler" has already accumulated eight crimes for fraud, among which four firm convictions stand out. Cavallé is accused, according to the indictment, of making a woman lend him 850 euros between 2016 and 2017. The woman later refused to lend them another 1,700 euros, when she realized that the man was not repaying her. the money.

Cavallé's modus operandi was based on establishing a sentimental relationship with the victim. He contacted them through mobile dating apps, where he tricked women into thinking he was wealthy. After a time of relationship, the defendant asked them for various amounts of money with realistic and very well elaborated excuses.

A few months ago, the defendant accepted a sentence of two years and three months in prison for having defrauded six women for a total of 68,000 euros.
