Alba Silva gives the last minute of the state of health of goalkeeper Sergio Rico: "One more day is one day less"

Last Sunday, May 28, the professional soccer player Sergio Rico suffered an accident with a horse when he was enjoying the pilgrimage that was held in El Rocío, Huelva. Rico had traveled to the Andalusian municipality just a few hours ago, since on Saturday he played with PSG in Strasbourg.

At first, various versions were given about the events that had caused the soccer player's injury and it was ensured that Rico had suffered a fall from a horse, an animal that had later kicked him in the neck. Thanks to the report on the facts that was presented in the Palma del Condado court, it was confirmed that the athlete was hit by runaway oxen from a cart and not by the equine animal. However, in the program Y Ahora, Sonsoles had access to the accident report where it is explained that the young man was calmly riding his horse when a cart with runaway mules scared the animal, which knocked it to the ground and stepped on it.

Since then, the soccer player has remained "stable within gravity" in the ICU of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, where every hour is important and every day can be decisive.

The family and relatives of the Sevillian soccer player are living an absolute nightmare due to the uncertainty surrounding Rico's state of health. The goalkeeper's girlfriend shared a photo on Instagram of her asking him to get strength from wherever he could because they were waiting for him: "Don't leave me alone my love because I swear I can't, nor do I know how to live without you. We are waiting for you my life, we love you so much.

After many days in which the information was the same, yesterday the program Y Ahora, Sonsoles revealed exclusively that the brain bruise that the Andalusian has is subsiding and that there is a certain optimism in the environment, although the situation continues to be critical.

Silva has returned to the media to give the last minute of her husband's state of health and has explained that right now they are positive because it is still stable and that they are stronger because the first days were horrible: "One day more is one day less… We already have Sergio left to recover and we will soon be together every day''.

At first, the different sources that reported the accident confirmed that the footballer had fallen off his horse, but the elite athlete's family came out to deny this information.

A few minutes ago, the television collaborator Marta López has assured in the Telecinco program Ya es Mediodía that the soccer player was mounted on the animal. The former Big Brother contestant has defended this version contrary to what the family said, something that has attracted a lot of attention on social networks.
